Welcome to Belle Hearth, a Shenandoah Valley bed and breakfast! While relaxing in gracious Victorian comfort, you will experience the warmth of our individualized hospitality. Our B&B provides lodging accommodations in the historic district of Waynesboro, VA, a small town just three miles from Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive entrances, and scenic Afton mountain. We are just 12 miles east of Staunton and 25 miles west of Charlottesville. Wintergreen Resort and numerous wineries are a short drive away. Year round outdoor activities abound in the area as well as art centers, antique shops, and museums. With its gabled roof, wraparound porch (with swing), heart pine floors, pocket doors and seven working fireplaces, the Belle Hearth depicts the fine craftsmanship of the late Victorian/Neo Classical period.
At our award winning breakfast, you will discover a candlelit dining table set with silver and china--the perfect backdrop for old-fashioned country fare. There's always fresh fruit and herbs in season from our garden, homemade biscuits and hot breads as a starter along with quiches, casseroles or homemade waffles accompanied by breakfast meats. Locally grown fruits and vegetables are part of our breakfast menus. In the summer, enjoy our large pool and air-conditioned comfort and in the winter enjoy our cozy fireplaces. The Belle Hearth is perfect for that romantic Virginia getaway or simply a peaceful retreat for anyone needing to get away. The Belle Hearth has been featured in Blue Ridge Country magazine as the "Best of cozy B & B's".
Also featured in "Shenandoah Living" as an "intimate winter getaway".

Greetings from Waynesboro, Virginia. We hope you will enjoy traveling thru our new website. In an effort to make it more visually appealing, we added more pictures, more little touches like postcards with guest comments, and page layouts that are easier to understand. Also a blog page and "a note from your host" section where we can keep you up to date on the happenings here and in the Shenandoah Valley. Think of us when planning a trip to this beautiful part of Virginia, where vineyards abound, spectacular scenery is the norm and history lures us to days gone by. We look forward to meeting you.
